Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in New York and Buenos Aires, and Claro & Cía in Santiago have helped Chile’s only public bank, BancoEstado, issue notes worth US$500 million.
The purchasers hired Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP in New York and São Paulo, and Carey in Santiago.
The notes were issued under BancoEstado’s global US$3 billion bond programme.
The deal closed on 8 January.
