Her practice focuses on matters related to intellectual and industrial property, data protection, e-commerce and, in general, in relation to new technologies as well as corporate and commercial matters, mergers and acquisitions, international trade, foreign investment and general practice.
REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE
- Similarweb, an Israeli based company listed in the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Admetricks, a leading company in digital analytics, data processing and advertising and marketing intelligence services (SaaS) in Latin America.
- ReSimple on the drafting of privacy policies and terms and conditions for its platforms and apps to manage its relationship with citizens and neighbors, as well as waste producing companies and waste managers.
- ALD Automotive on the review of its internal data processing and retention policies, including a data protection compliance due diligence and the adjustment and amendment of all of its contracts, documents and policies to Chilean law.
- LarrainVial, representing a group of investors, on the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Farmacias Ahumada, one of the three largest pharmacy chains in Chile, from Wallgreens Boots Alliance, a transnational corporation based in UK. The transaction involved an extensive due diligence of the assets and operations of Farmacias Ahumada and the negotiation of a share purchase agreement with the company that owns Farmacias Ahumada, as well as the structuring of the investment.
- NotCo on permanent regulatory, data protection, intellectual property and consumer law matters, including the drafting of agreements with partners and customers.
- Wild Foods on permanent regulatory, data protection, intellectual property and consumer law matters, including the drafting of agreements with partners and customers.
- Zentynel, an investment fund, on a technical due diligence for a patent and technology acquisition related to the pharmaceutical industry
- Instituto para la Resiliencia ante Desastres (Itrend), a public-private non-profit association created by the Government and Chilean universities to coordinate efforts to respond to natural disasters, on its incorporation, including the design of a corporate governance, data use policies, data transfer agreements and negotiations with other parties. Also, on the drafting of collaboration agreements with public and private entities for the development of research, innovation and entrepreneurship projects, exchange of data, and enrichment of its open data platform.
