His practice focuses on matters related to new technologies and intellectual and industrial property, advising national and multinational companies in the drafting and negotiation of technology license agreements; matters of data protection and information security; and in all aspects related to the protection of intangible assets.


REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

  • Algramo, a Chilean innovative company with a technology consisting in the provision of food and home hygiene products in bulk, on its corporate structuring and IP and data privacy strategies for the protection of its intangible assets.
  • Instituto para la Resiliencia ante Desastres (Itrend), a public-private non-profit association created by the Government and Chilean universities to coordinate efforts to respond to natural disasters, on its incorporation, including the design of a corporate governance, data use policies, data transfer agreements and negotiations with other parties. Also, on the drafting of collaboration agreements with public and private entities for the development of research, innovation and entrepreneurship projects, exchange of data, and enrichment of its open data platform.
  • Napse, part of the Brazilian business group Linx, on several agreements for the implementation and provision of a software delivery model (SaaS) to a relevant Colombian client, including the review and negotiation of a personal data processing agreement.
  • Crystal Lagoons, the first Chilean Unicorn, with offices in the US and The Netherlands, on a multimillion dollar technology license to Oleta, a developer of North Miami. Crystal Lagoons developed and patented a state-of-the-art technology that keeps crystalline water lagoons of unlimited sizes at low costs.
  • An international delivery platform company regarding its entry into Chile and other countries in LATAM.
