His practice focuses on administrative, constitutional and regulatory law, advising several national and international clients, as well as public entities and state-owned enterprises on all sorts of matters directly or indirectly related to the public sector in Chile, including concessions, public procurement, negotiation and development of public-private associations, litigation before Chilean administrative bodies, ordinary and special courts of justice, the Chilean Public Procurement Court and the Chilean Constitutional Court, legal defense against sanctions imposed by public entities, advice on sectoral regulations in various markets, regarding public policies and legislative matters, as well as issues related to the Chilean Transparency Law.


REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

  • NotCo on various oppositions to requests of information made by individuals through the law of access to public information, known in Chile as Law of Transparency. The advice resulted in the protection of the economic and commercial rights of NotCo by the non-disclosure of the requested information.
  • Codelco on day-to-day regulatory matters regarding a corporate vehicle created to develop partnerships with private companies in Salar de Atacama and Salar de Maricunga, in the context of the lithium national strategy announced by president Boric early in 2023.
  • Hewlett Packard on a bidding carried out by Junaeb to acquire laptops for Chilean students, including a report analysis of other candidate's bids, the eventual illegalities incurred during the procedure and the administrative and judicial courses of action to claim against such illegalities.
  • Blanco y Negro on a sanctioning procedure initiated by the Regional Ministerial Secretariat of Health, regarding an accident occurred during an event called "Arengazo 2022".
  • Unnio Seguros Generales on its successful defense in several audits and sanctioning procedures before the CMF, regarding the non-compliance with instructions issued by said regulator for the preparation of financial statements, including filing an appeal for reconsideration.
