REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

  • Mainstream Renewable Power on the implementation of the financial restructuring of its portfolio of 10 non-conventional renewable energy projects "Huemul" (630MW), "Cóndor" (591 MW) and "Copihue" (148.5 MW), financed under a project finance structure with several bank syndicates and the renegotiation of a mezzanine financing, as part of a reorganization process initiated by Cóndor Energía and Huemul Energía in Chile, and under the Chapter 11 process initiated in the United States against certain affiliates of MRP by one of its creditors, for USD1.6 billion.
  • Inter-American Investment Corporation, International Finance Corporation and Banco del Estado de Chile on long-term financings for up to USD346 million granted to Suministradora de Buses K Cuatro, a company in charge of supplying 992 electric buses in Santiago, San Bernardo and Puente Alto, Chile.
  • WOM, the second largest mobile telecommunications provider in Chile, and several of its related entities in Chile, Norway and Luxemburg, on its voluntary reorganization proceeding under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, filed in the Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, which included the negotiation and execution of a senior secured debtor-in-possession (DIP) financing, for up to USD210 million, granted by JPMorgan Chase Bank.
  • Sonnedix on a short-term financing of up to USD24 million granted by DNB Bank to Don Goyo Transmisión, part of the Sonnedix group, to reimburse its shareholders for the capital invested in the “Don Goyo” interconnection substation, finance two expansions to said substation and pay the associated VAT.
  • IFC and DEG, as lenders, on a USD350 and USD50 million financing, respectively, to Engie Energía Chile to implement a decarbonization plan, to switch from fossil fuel to non-conventional renewable energy sources and to install a new BESS energy storage system.
  • DNB Bank, as senior lender, on a financing granted to Obton Solenergy Lamar Chile, affiliate of Obton Solenergi Lamar, for the development and construction of a portfolio of PMGD and PMG projects in Chile.
