On April 30, 2020 the Executive Director of the Environmental Assessment Service (SEA) issued a resolution, extending the suspension term of the following provisional measures:

• Extend the term suspension for projects with citizen participation (https://www.carey.cl/en/environmental-assessment-service-orders-the-suspension-of-the-terms-of-the-projects-with-citizen-participation-processes-and-enforces-virtual-channels-in-the-context-of-covid-19/), until May 31, 2020.
• Extend the term to submit addendas in environmental impact assessment procedures, as follow:
  • For projects which addendas must be submitted between May 1, 2020 and June 29, 2020: the term to submit the addendas is extended until June 30, 2020.
  • For projects which addendas must be submitted after June 30, 2020: maintain the original term indicated in the corresponding ICSARA, in resolution of term extension of articles 38, 41, 50 o 53 of the SEIA Regulation, or the extension indicated in Resolution N°202099101160, dated April 3, 2020 issued by the Executive Director of the SEA.
