Managing Intellectual Property, one of the most important legal publications in the area, recognized Carey as "Chilean Intellectual Property Firm of the Year."
The Managing IP Awards event, in which the best IP firms of America were chosen, was held at the end of April. Carey was highlighted as the best IP firm in Chile.
Carey's Intellectual Property group is led by partners Guillermo Carey, Francisco Carey and Ignacio Gillmore and comprises almost 100 people, including lawyers, professionals, and specialized administrative staff.
MIP presents the awards annually to firms, individuals, and companies that have done the most innovative and challenging intellectual property work over the past twelve months.
Partners Francisco Carey and Ignacio Gillmore received the award on behalf of the firm, in a ceremony held at "Essex House" in New York, with the presence of more than 200 guests from firms from throughout the region
