REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

  • Codelco on the issuance and sale of securities for an aggregate of USD2 billion, under regulation 144A/Reg S of the United States, consisting in a new issuance of USD1.5 billion, with an interest rate of 6.44% and maturity in 2036, and the reopening of its existing notes for USD500 million, due in 2053, with an interest rate of 6.3%.
  • Grenergy Renovables on a USD345 million financing for phases 1 and 2 of the Oasis de Atacama project, under a project finance structure, for the construction and operation of a 220 MWp photovoltaic solar energy project and a 1.24GWh battery storage project (BESS), making it the largest storage project in the world.
  • BNP Paribas and Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, as lenders, on a financing for up to USD289 million, for the construction, development and maintenance of an energy storage system called "Bess del Desierto", a member of the Atlas Renewable Energy Group, with an installed capacity of 200MW, and a storage capacity of 800MWh, located in the borough of María Elena, Antofagasta Region of Chile.
  • Lo Espejo Data Center, a subsidiary of Odata Chile, on a financing of up to USD140 million, granted by Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and MUFG Bank, for the development and construction of a data center of an approx. total capacity of up to 40 MW, located in Santiago. Additionally, on the financing of the VAT associated to such construction for up to USD25 million, granted by Banco BICE.
  • DNB Bank, as senior lender, on a financing granted to Obton Solenergy Lamar Chile SpA, affiliate of Obton Solenergi Lamar ApS, for the development and construction of a portfolio of PMGD and PMG projects in Chile.
  • Patria Investments on the Chilean aspects of the sale of the 90% of controlling interest of its ODATA subsidiaries in Latin America (Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Uruguay). The transaction was governed by New York law and involved the coordination of different legal advisors for each of the parties, Patria and Cyrus One, as sellers, and Aligned Data Centers as buyer. Additionally, the sale was conditional on the pre-payment of the senior, VAT and bridge loans of which ODATA was a borrower, which also involved the coordination of the different advisors of the financial institutions involved.
  • KfW IPEX-Bank on the USD100 million bridge financing for the investment in four energy transmission projects located in Chile, including the transmission lines Nueva Nirivilo-Constitución and Don Goyo-La Ruca as well as the transmission equipment projects Nuevo Equipo de Compensación Reactiva and Substation El Ruil.
  • International Finance Corporation (IFC) on a financing granted to the Santo Tomás educational group, consisting of the Santo Tomás University, the Santo Tomás Professional Institute and the Santo Tomás Technical Training Center, for approx. USD57 million, with the purpose of financing physical and digital infrastructure projects in higher education focused on students who come, mostly, from vulnerable environments throughout Chile.
