REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

  • Loginsa on the sale of 100% of its shares to Grupo Ransa. Ransa is one of the leading 3PL logistics operators in Latin America, with operations in more than 10 countries from Mexico to Chile, whose controller is the investment fund H.I.G. Capital, a leading global alternative investment firm managing a USD60 billion equity capital. Loginsa is a leading 3PL logistics company in Chile, operating retail and industrial, cold and frozen, pharma, transportation and e-commerce businesses.
  • DaVita on the acquisition of the Chilean dialysis business of Fresenius Medical Care. DaVita is a US listed company leading in kidney dialysis services, and Fresenius Medical Care is a dual US/German listed company that provides renal diseases services.
  • Liberty Latin America on the agreements for the taking of control of ClaroVTR by America Móvil. Through the capitalization of convertible notes subscribed by ClaroVTR due to the financing granted to the company, America Movil holds approx. 91% of the share capital and Liberty Latin America  approx. 9% of the capital.
  • Grupo Axo on the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Komax. Grupo Axo is a leading Mexican retail company in the apparel and fashion industry and represents brands such as Abercrombie & Fitch, Bath & Body Works, Calvin Klein, Crate & Barrel, Guess, Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, and Victoria's Secret, among others. Komax is a Chilean company that represents major brands in the retail industry in Chile, Peru and Uruguay, such as The North Face, GAP, Banana Republic, Brooks Brothers, among others. Grupo Axo  acquired the entire operation of Komax in these countries.
  • Liberty Latin America on the merger with América Móvil in order to combine their respective Chilean operations, VTR and Claro Chile, through a 50:50 joint venture agreement. VTR is a leading provider of high-speed fixed products, such as broadband and paid TV services, with approx. 3 million subscribers nationwide, and Claro is a leading telecommunications service provider, with more than 6.5 million mobile customers. This JV creates a greater scale business and product diversification with a capital structure that enables a significant investment for fixed fiber footprint expansion and a forefront 5G mobile delivery.
