His practice focuses on legal advice and strategy in the development of energy projects, in electricity industry matters, including supply, generation, transmission, distribution, obtention of administrative permits and the negotiation of contracts related to the area and, in general, the electric industry regulation, corporate law and civil law.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

Codelco on the preparation of the strategy and all documents applicable to a renewable energy public bidding for the corporate supply of the company for the period from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2040, in which more than 50 national and international parties participated. The process resulted in the award and subscription of three energy and power supply contracts (PPA) for 15 years and for a total volume of 1.8 TWh/year. The advice included the preparation of the Prequalification Bidding Terms, the Bidding Terms, as well as the drafting and negotiation of PPAs with three relevant generation companies (Atlas, for 375 GWh/year; Colbún, for 1,100 GWh/year; and Innergex, for 350 GWh/year)
BlackRock on the refinancing of part of the debt it held with Banco Security and the structuring of a project finance for a portfolio of 20 PMGD projects.
Fotones on the signature of a power purchase agreement (PPA) and NCRE attributes with Generadora Metropolitana for 350GWh/year, in order to supply renewable energy to the solar plant Libertad for a 10-year period.
Codelco on the signature of a power purchase agreement (PPA) with AES Andes, to supply a power capacity of 210 MW of renewable energy to Codelco between 2023 and 2040. The advice also included the modification of other two PPAs for the supply of Codelco's divisions, Ministro Hales and Radomiro Tomic. Additionally, on the Amendment and Consolidated Text of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) signed with Colbún to supply renewable energy to all of Codelco's consumption, including the accreditation of renewable supply through certificates (such as I-REC or equivalent). This agreement was initially signed to supply part of the consumption of Codelco divisions until December 2044.
Acciona Energía on the sale of the transmission line Tolchén to Saesa, in order to interconnect and inject energy generated from different operating and future wind power projects in southern Chile.
