REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE
- WOM, the second largest mobile telecommunications provider in Chile, and several of its related entities in Chile, Norway and Luxemburg, on its voluntary reorganization proceeding under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, filed in the Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, which included the negotiation and execution of a senior secured debtor-in-possession (DIP) financing, for up to USD210 million, granted by JPMorgan Chase Bank.
- Mainstream Renewable Power on the implementation of the financial restructuring of its portfolios of non-conventional renewable energy projects "Huemul" (630MW), "Cóndor" (591 MW) and "Copihue" (148.5 MW), financed under a project finance structure with several banks syndicates and the renegotiation of a Mezzanine financing granted in connection thereto. This advice is part of the Chilean reorganization processes initiated by Cóndor Energía and Huemul Energía, and the Chapter 11 initiated in the US against certain affiliates of MRP by one of its creditors for USD1.6 billion.
- Inter-American Investment Corporation, International Finance Corporation and Banco del Estado de Chile on long-term financings for up to USD346 million granted to Suministradora de Buses K Cuatro, a company in charge of supplying 992 electric buses in Santiago, San Bernardo and Puente Alto, Chile.
- SUSI Partners, a Swiss-based investment manager specialized in sustainable energy infrastructure investments, on a financing obtained by SETF Energías Renovables, a SUSI affiliate, from BCI, Miami Branch and DNB Bank, for the acquisition, construction, development and operation of a 107 MW Chilean portfolio of PMGD projects.
- Grünenthal and its Chilean subsidiary, Laboratorios Andrómaco, the latter as guarantor, on the amendment of a credit agreement for a revolving credit facility for approx. USD550 million , and on the issuance of USD330 million approx. aggregate principal amount of 6.75% senior secured notes due 2030, secured by Laboratorios Andrómaco, among other companies of the Grünenthal group.
